We pulled in a solid variety of fish, and true to form, Aaron made sure none of us went home empty-handed—or forced to buy grocery store salmon to save face. If you want an exceptional captain who actually delivers on getting you what you're after, Ketchikan Fishing Expeditions is the only call you need to make. We'll definitely be back for round five.

8 Timers Tur – Laks/Helleflynder (7AM)was my fourth time booking with Cpt Aaron, always book 3 day with him for each of my trips to Ketchikan, do a couple halibut day and one half day for salmon and always leave very satisfied, Aaron does a great job at hosting and has great customer service , make you feel like another friend on his boat and does a great job putting you on the fish and always ensure that you have a great time out on the water and on land, highly recommend booking with Aaron

Ramirez made the trip a complete success in both the fishing and the fun time had by all. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and professional. He made us feel like family or close friends rather than a business transaction. It seemed we were always on the reel, laughing or a combination of the two. Would HIGHLY recommend him to everyone.

We offer 4-8 hour charters and can pick up directly from any cruise ship dock in downtown Ketchikan. Late May provides excellent halibut fishing and once June comes we will be chasing king salmon and more! Prime dates are filling so dont wait!

2025 Halibut Regulations

The 2025 halibut regulations have been released. The size limit will be 1 fish per person per day under 37” or over 80”.
Tuesdays will also be CLOSED to halibut retention the entire season.
When booking a halibut or multi species trip please be aware of this as it is out of our control. There are plenty of other bottom fish and salmon species to target but any halibut caught on Tuesdays will be released. We thank our guests for understanding!
