My father and I have been fishing the gulf for over 25 years. We lobster in the Keys, scallop in Crystal River, and fish out of John's Pass. We enjoy being on the water and bringing home some of Florida's best seafood. And we are passionate about helping other people fall in love with Florida's best as well!

    Awesome offshore trip and a great captain! We caught some really nice fish and had a blast. One suggestion for the future: it would be great to use a heavier leader and stronger tackle for the bigger fish, especially cobia. We had several cobia right next to the boat, but every one of them broke off before we could land it. That hurt 😂 And one more small thing — please fix the toilet flush 😅 Going overboard is definitely an experience, but not everyone wants that kind of adventure! Other than that, we had a great time, caught some beautiful fish, and would definitely recommend the trip. Thanks again! 🎣

    Best Fishing Experience We've Ever Had

    We've been vacationing in the St. Petersburg area for over 20 years. In that time we have done numerous fishing charters, including the local "party boats" and other private charters. Captain Rich and Reef Relief Charters was by far the most pleasurable experience we have had in all this time. Captain Rich was personable, honest, flexible, easy to talk to, and truly cares about his craft. All the attributes you want when you place trust in someone to take you and your family out in the open water. Not only was his character impeccable, but also the fishing was phenomenal as well. We went out on a 6 hour offshore charter. It was my 8 year old daughter's first charter experience. Not only did Captain Rich help her catch a monster red grouper, he also was attentive to everyone in the family making it easy to fill our cooler with fish. Over all, a completely phenomenal day. If only there were more people in the world dedicated to their profession like Captain Rich.

    10/10 highly recommend. I have been on charters from Iceland to Rhode Island to Puget Sound and this was one of my favorites. We had 4 guys with a couple experienced anglers and two newbies. The captain took us out 20 miles and we were on fish the entire time. The captain kept moving to keep us on active fish. We caught keeper hogfish and other reef fish and some nice grouper (we released safely). The captain cleaned and bagged our fish and taught us a ton about fishing tactics in the Gulf. I can’t wait to get out on this boat again next month.

    We had a blast. The captain and crew were amazing. It was a full moon the nite before so dont think the bite was as good as it could have been. We still caught some good fish. Would hate to know how it would be if the bite was real good. Cause we were wore out. Will do it again for sure.

    Amazing Day on the Water

    Perfect trip out and the captain was so easy to get along with! We asked for a fun and relaxing day out and got exactly that! He was patient and explained all the fish we were catching. We had a great time catching some big groupers!! highly recommended!! Bring snacks and drinks and enjoy your day!

    overall we had a great trip. caught about 45 fish total. unfortunately no keepers, but thats the game you play. we were in pretty constant action from the time we git there till we headed back in. i would recomend for anyone.

    Everyone had a great day on the boat and everyone caught fish! The captain was very helpful and made sure everyone was cwtchign fish! Our son even caught a shark! Trip is good for any age.

    We had the 8 hour charter and it was awesome! We caught Grouper, Snapper, an 8 foot nurse shark, and several other little guys. The ride out and back was great and Captain was so knowledgeable. First mate, Scarlet, was super fun. Great family charter or for anyone!

    We had an incredible time! We went 29 miles offshore and were rewarded with some fantastic grouper and snapper. The entire experience was top-notch and highly recommended for any angler.

    We asked for a trip targeting grouper. Other local captains said the bite was tough this year.... But captain Rich got us out and put us on some fish. It's not the prettiest boat but he got us out and got us on the fish.
