Captain Bryan (Bud) Winn Captain Bud has been fishing since he was old enough to hold a fishing pole and has spent countless hours on the water. With nearly a decade of Lake Michigan experience, he has won multiple tournaments and taken many top 10 finishes as well. He began fishing the port of Muskegon as a first mate on a charter boat and fell in love with trolling Lake Michigan as so many of us do. After a few years of being a first mate, it was time for him to move on and buy his own boat. He moved to the port of South Haven as it was closer to his hometown and began learning from the local captains all about this new port and where the fish tend to roam toward the south end of the lake. In 2019 Captain Bud obtained his USCG Master 25 Ton Captain's license and began running charters on some of the local captain's boats. He fell in love with the 31 ft Open Tiara and had to have one of his own. In 2021 that dream came true and he has been continuing to hone his craft every day that he's on the water to make your trip that much more fun and exciting.

    Fantastisk tur

    Kaptajn Bud var fantastisk med både børn og voksne (LOL). Meget vidende og fik os på fiskene med det samme. Han var nem at arbejde med, så vi kunne komme afsted lidt tidligt og passere hævebroen kl. 6. Kan klart anbefales.

    Tak Randy, I var fantastiske! Alle gjorde det rigtig godt med at spole ind og håndtere stængerne, og hvis det første bid havde holdt sig, ville vi have fyldt begge kølebokse. Vil altid gerne have jer tilbage, og forhåbentlig nåede I at komme ind til Clementines og nyde løgringe!

    Vi nød denne oplevelse enormt meget. Så en smuk solopgang. Fangede fire flotte fisk. Perfekt til aftensmad i aften! Dejligt vejr. En fantastisk måde at tilbringe tid med familien på.

    Vi havde alle en fantastisk tid med at spole fisk ind! Kaptajn Budd gjorde et godt stykke arbejde og holdt os alle underholdt. Han sendte os hjem med en køleboks fuld af fileter. Vi kommer helt sikkert igen

    Vi klarede os bedst den dag ude fra havnen – vi fangede Kongemakrel, Regnbueørred (Steelhead) og Amerikansk søørred. Han sørgede for, at alle vores spørgsmål blev besvaret og satte os på den bedste Lake Michigan charter-tur nogensinde!!!!

6 man limit in less than 2 hours!

Great coho fishing this morning where every rod in the water took atleast one fish and at one time all 12 were out of the water with fish having bitten each one in a short time. Fishing is without a doubt as good as it gets right now!

Steady fishing for 4 days straight

We had very good fishing with a TON of bites with a lot of fish that were short striking or were playing dirty and didnt want to stay on. We were able to land some nice fish and fill coolers Friday-Monday and have a lot of fun doing it.

These fellas from Iowa are going home with a heck of a haul. 12 salmon and 2 steelhead today and had another 12 on that outsmarted us. No lack of smilea, bites, or filets today!

Incredible weekend of fishing!

We started fishing on thursday and found big mature kings swimming around and it continued through the weekend. Plenty of fish hitting the deck each say and LOTS of meat going home with each of these groups. We even caught a new boat record wirg a 30.3 lb king salmon!

Heavy fish, sore arms!

Another great day of fishing with some new friends from Indiana. These guys (and gal) did a killer job on the rods getting these fish in the boat. 14 fish landed today and PLENTY of meat to fill their cooler.

LIMITS!

Limits of salmon for Becky and Greg this morning! Tons of bites with some really nice fish hitting the deck and some really nice fish outsmarting us as well. Had lots of fun with this couple from Kentucky and hoping they get to enjoy these fish for a long time as they even had to buy another cooler to haul thejr fish home!
