Amazing Experience With Captain Mike And His 1st Mate

4 timers Hvidøjet sandart tur (Eftermiddag)

I can’t say enough about the amazing experience my group of six had with Mike and his first mate—they were pleasant and incredibly accommodating. Our charter was for four hours, and they worked hard for us the whole time we were fishing. All six of us got our legal limit of walleye, though Mike stayed out on the lake longer at no extra charge so we could!, what a guy! It’s easy to see why every review everywhere (i.e. google reviews) for Mike’s Erie Hooker charter are all 100% positive—his service is extremely professional. I’ll definitely book again, and if he’s not available the day I want to go, I’ll wait to go another day so I can go with him—he and his first mate really are that good!

Out on the water with first timers!

    Jig special • 4 voksne

It was a GGrandma support trip for family guys to Toledo and a first time Walleye trip to give the family boys a little break and it was a great time. Mike is a great skipper that took an early season day with three first timers on a half day and expanded it for a fullish with no additional ask to make it a total blast..........we gave Mike a good bump of course! Our two Walleye feasts for my Mother In Law's 99th birthday and day to follow was epic and we even caught a Steelie to boot! We are planning more trips with the ERIE HOOKER in the very near future. Thank you very much Mike for a way overdue "FUN" bonding trip with my "GREAT GUY/ BROTHERS IN LAW"...........it all was an absolute blast! Jim "OZ" Osborne Montgomery,TX

Jim “OZ” — now that’s what I like to hear. ⚓️ Early season, bonus time on the water, walleye feasts, and a steelie? That’s a proper Lake Erie haul and a great day on the water. I truly appreciate you trusting me with your crew — it means a lot to be part of your time together out there. Looking forward to your next trip… I’ll aim to make it even better. Until then — stay hooked and keep a tight line, my friend. 🎣

This charter should be your Number One choice for your fishing trip! The boat is awesome, the crew superb and got us on the Mid-July fish and that is no easy task. will definitely be booking the Erie Hooker again.

Lake erie Fishing after the blow; long r

May 24, 2026 • Oak Harbor
Lots of miles, but killer fish made every one worth it. A solo crew from Iowa — a die-hard fisherman crazy enough to make the last-minute haul over knowing the lake had been absolutely wrecked by two straight days of north winds. Muddy water stretched all the way to the War Buoy — 12 miles from my dock and ugly as hell. But we stayed on ’em, hunted down the good fish, and turned a brutal setup into one hell of a trip. ?
