I've been fishing longer than I've been walking. Raised on the water in South Florida, my earliest memories are aboard my father's boat—line in the water before I could talk, steering the helm by the time I was five. For my 13th birthday, he handed me the keys to my own: a 13-foot Boston Whaler. By 15, I was navigating these waters solo, chasing fish from Key West to Jupiter.
South Florida isn't just where I'm from—it's who I am. I've spent my life learning its tides and the rhythms of its fisheries. Every chance I've had, I've been out there—honing my instincts, respecting the water, and pursuing the next bite.

Offshore Halvdagstur (AM) 4 timer • 4 voksneWe unfortunately had a pretty slow day of fishing with Derik, but he and Aaron worked hard and did everything they could to get us on the fish. Derik and Aaron were very profesional the whole time, changed tactics, moved our kite spread twice, and were constantly focused on the kite spread making sure baits were presented perfectly giving us the best shot for a bite. I really appreciate that they didnt give up until we absolutely had to go in. Boat was in excellent shape and was plenty of space for our group of four adults. I wouldn’t hesitate to fish with Derik again.

Offshore Half Day PM Trip (4 hour) • 4 voksne • 1 barnwent out with my wife, son and had a great time he truly tried super hard to make sure my son had a great first fishing experience, great boat super clean took us to many spots check in a few days before with us about weather conditions and we end up moving the day because he truly wanted my son to have a good fishing experience I recommend this boat and Cap any day.

He called several times to coordinate the plan for the day and he had us on fish right away. We caught 5 species and brought 8 fish to the boat. Overall a great day. He filleted what we decided to keep and he took great care of us. We highly recommend him

Offshore Halvdagstur (AM) 4 timer • 4 voksneThe ocean was too rough to go out but Derik made it work in the ICW. We caught lots of snapper and he fileted them for us. Derik is very nice and even let us go a little bit over the booked time as he didn't have another charter. 10/10 would do it again!

Today was a bit rough offshore. My clients opted to stay inshore where we fished some artificial reef sites. Stayed busy using live shrimpcatching a wide array of fish. They went home with some mangrove snappers and lane snappers for lunch.
