Captain Marwan Shriem was born in Kuwait, and from a young age was fishing there. In 1990 he moved to the Philippines where he spent the next 5 years mastering many fishing techniques. He then moved to Jordan, where all his efforts paid off in the form of some amazing record-breaking catches. Some of the most notable include the 172 kg Swordfish he caught in the Red Sea, a Tiger Shark in 2000 weighing a staggering 301 kg, and a Wahoo in the Red Sea again, weighing 53 kg. He is very experienced and loves having people on board and sharing his passion with them.

    December fishing trip

    There were seven of us on the trip and Capt Marwan made sure that each caught a nice fish, not to mention the few we managed to lose after hooking. He knows his waters and his techniques so you can count on action, if you go fishing with him. Tuna of 4-5 kg were fierce fighters, as well as a 12 kg barracuda, not to mention the new experience of catching squid from as deep as 500 meters below your boat. Highly recommended!

    Half dat trip at the rad sea

    Ongelofelijk mooie ervaring met ons gezin. Vissen op 500 m diepte op een prachtige plek ongeveer 15 minuten varen vanuit Aqaba. Super aardige kapitein. Vangst: octopus, 7 haaien, bomfret. De laatste schoongemaakt door kapitein Marwan en thuis heerlijk van gegeten.

    Half day with Captain Marwan

    We had a lovely experience with Captain Marwan! He is truly a professional fisherman. We were able to bring home tuna, barracuda, and Pomfret. He had a variety of equipment to ensure that we could bring home fish. He was so kind to show us a place that would clean and fillet it for us.

    Fantastic 5 hours on the Red Sea with Captain Marwan

    I took my two sons (15 and 10) and a friend's son (9) with four of us and we had a fantastic time. Captain Marwan made the the time on the Sea enjoyable, educational, and comfortable. We caught a Mahi Mahi, had squids escaped, and the Captain wanted to stay out longer for us to catch more, but we had to go back in for another appointment. But this shows the dedication of Captain Marwan to give the best experience even by lengthening the time at no cost. I would definitely recommend Captain Marwan and look forward to going again if in Jordan.

    Thank you dear . Its my plesure fishing with you....l had so much fun too, l tried my best to catch a sword fish but luck was not there. Dealing with expert fisher men make the trip fantastic.     This trip was great , Captain Marwan was very hospitable, he had drinks for us , the boat was very clean and very safe, our conversation was awesome, my son and I would recommend him for sure.

    We had a great five hour trip with Marwan. He was very eager to make sure we had a good experience. We caught a long barracuda and a small shark. Marwan is helpful and has himself a genuine interest in fishing and wants to share it with his guests. We are a family of five, mother, father and children on 13, 17 and 19 years.

    We booked Marwan Shriem for a half-day excursion at the end of a culinary tour. The communication was immediate and informative. The boat was clean and well stocked. Marwan is a pro in the area and came highly recommended. There were ample fish to catch. I would definitely recommend him for your fishing charter needs.
