Fishing the Lower Laguna Madre has been a part of my life since I was a kid. Over the years, that passion grew into a commitment to learning these waters, understanding the fishery, and helping others experience what makes South Texas inshore fishing so special. As the captain of DriftSouth Charters, my goal is about more than simply putting fish in the boat. I want my clients to leave with knowledge, confidence, great memories, and a desire to come back and do it again. I specialize in drifting and wading, with a strong focus on artificial lures, while also using live or dead bait when conditions call for it. Every trip is approached differently because the water, weather, tides, and fish are always changing. Whether you’re an experienced angler looking to sharpen your skills or someone wanting to learn the basics, I’ll work with you, share what I know, and put you in the best position possible to have a great day on the water.
