I grew up fishing the Saginaw Bay and its tributaries. I remember my dad taking me fishing for Perch, Walleye, Salmon, and many other species that Michigan has to offer on inland lakes, rivers, and the Great Lakes. I lived in very close proximity to the Tittabawassee River as a kid and remember my mom dropping me off on her way to work so I could fish. The Walleye runs were good back then but not near how great they are these days. I was passionate about fishing then and as I grew older, my passion turned into an obsession. Now the Walleye fishing is world class and as a grown man, I am still obsessed with catching and eating these tasty fish. I look forward to every trip I have on the Saginaw Bay. From the sunrises to the sunsets and all the great people I get to meet and fish with, I am truly blessed to have been introduced to fishing by my father at a young age.

5 Hour Trip – Shared Walleye (PM) • 3 voksne • 1 barnWe had a fabulous experience with Captain Shane! We would absolutely recommend this to families with kids! Captain and his first mate were amazing to our son. We have very little experience fishing and they made this so much fun for all of us. To top it off Captain Shane recommended an amazing restaurant right down the street that would cook the fish we just caught! It was incredible.

Captain Shane is super nice and very willing to teach "old dogs new tricks". I guarantee you will have a great time when you book with Captain Shane.

He is very nice and easy going. and more importantly he is really good at his job. the water was a bit rough today making it a bit harder to find fish. However we still got our limit on walleye plus a yellow perch! I highly recommend captain Shane!

Reports of little to no fish from other fishermen this particular day, yet Captain Shane worked hard and we were able to come back with a cooler full of Walleye. Great time highly recommend

Right out of the gate the fish were snapping. The bite was fast then steady for the rest of the trip. Crankbaits and spoons were the food of choice for these toothy table fair.

Had to work for them a bit. But we battled the flat calm seas and a mayfly hatch and put a nice box of walleye together. 20 walleye made the hooks with several others that got away and some throw backs mixed in.

Ohio came north and put an absolute clinic on! They were beating on these fish as soon as we started setting rods and didnt quit till they had there limit. And the captain even got 5. Way to put it to em! Flicker minnows on weighted steel behind inline planer boards filled the rack for this couple!!

Memorial day walleye

Memorial day was a great day to fish. Weather was astounding. The bite was slow at times but steady. We caught a bunch of fish unfortunatly they were just under the legal size limit of 13 inches. But 9 of them tasty fish made the cut and are now goingvto make a great dinner! Flicker shads and flicker minnows trolled behind planer boards is how we had success.

Started off little choppy with N/E winds. And as the day went on. it got nicer out and we picked away at some good quality fish and put a really nice box together.

Walleye fishing is good right now and going to just keep getting better. Shallow water and flicker shads were putting em in the boat today.
