Captain Danny is a young and hungry individual who has many years of experience in his short time on earth. Having been born and raised in Oceanside, he is very familiar with the waters and fishery in Southern California. He has worked for Ryan Bostian and Matt Bralla from the San Diego and Bill Cavanaugh and Sam Moore on the Intrepid. Working and learning on the best big sport fishing operations in San Diego, he is more than ready and eager to share his experience with others on the water. It doesn't matter if you are a rookie or a vet in the realm of fishing, our goal is to make the best of what is thrown at us on the water and always have a smile on our faces. Come experience what it is like to fish with a purpose and enjoy the day on our spectacular Pacific Ocean.

6 hour inshore yellowtail special • 3 voksneDan & Zane made for a day we won't forget. Booked a trip with Hola Cappy, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. These guys know their stuff. The boat (32' Yellowfin) is awesome, and all the gear was top-notch. Took my mom, who felt safe the whole time. Best of all, they put us on the fish (which can never be promised). Can't recommend these guys enough. If you're looking for a memorable day on the water, this is the one.

6 hour inshore yellowtail special • 3 voksneHad an awesome day with Captain Danny and Captain-in-training Hudson while fishing with a few family members out of Oceanside. Caught a nice yellowtail first thing, then caught a variety of species on our way back to the docks, including 4 new species for me! Danny knows his equipment, the waters, and is enthusiastic and fun to fish with. Would definitely recommend!

4 Hour PM fishing trip • 4 voksneWe did the afternoon fishing trip with Captain Danny and Ethan and had the best time. Captain Danny checked in the day prior and his communications were always prompt and friendly. He got us on the fish and the crew handled everything for us. Next time we are in Oceanside, we will be booking with him again.

With the local fishing giving us great opportunities, we had a last minute booking and set out for yellowtail. As soon as we left the harbor, mother nature greeted us with her breath! 12-15 knots against our favor but that limited the number of boats fishing. The weather layed down at 8 am and we found a kelp that gave us 1 bite and 1 fish! This yellowtail weighed in at 26 lb!

Our 4 hour guys wanted to test their luck and target Yellows. Luckily for us we got a call from our lifelong friends who were getting bites on a kelp 20 minutes from the dock! We hooked 6 and landed 2 for our day! Great day on the water with great people!

Went out on our 6 Hour offshore with beautiful weather and great company! Due to the fantastic weather, the crowd was in full force and made us fish for fish and drive away from the other boats. This worked in our favor as we landed 9 Yellowtail averaging 20-25 lb and lost about the same number.

Nothing to complain about here! Our groups have been getting steady shots at landing a fish of a lifetime! 20-30 lb yellowtail are around in numbers and we have been getting good shots at them! Come check it out!
