Capt. Daniel is experienced in navigating the waters of Quepos, Puntarenas Province and is ready to take you on a therapeutic fishing excursion. This area is known for Almaco Jack, Horse-eye Jack and Blue Marlin and you'll get to catch them using bottom fishing, spinning, popping, trolling, jigging, fly fishing, or other techniques. The only way to learn is to join them on the water.

    This was my 3rd time fishing in Costa Rica. First time on Reckless and this was by far my best trip. Captain Daniel ad Roy were so polite, fun and professional, they worked endlessly to get us on fish all day. We had two triple hook ups of tuna. also caught a rainbow runner, a grouper and finished the day of with a 84" sail. If you're still looking for a charter stop looking and book Reckless right now, you won't regret it.

    Captain Daniel and deckhand Luis were relentless in finding fish when it seemed to be slow. we ended up getting into them good, as we landed and tagged two sailfish and countless mahi-mahi to take home for TACOS! The boat was great and these guys fish hard! Will definitely book with them again!

    10 Sailfish in one day!

    I did a full day trip beginning of february, we started by going out for approximately 1 hour, then started trolling with 7 rods + teasers. It only took about half an hour until we caught our first sailfish, then they just kept coming. the largest one was about 110inches. the crew was very nice, english and spanish were spoken, lunch (hamburger) was delicious. I would totally recommend this trip if you want to catch some billfish!

    Great boat and crew

    Loved how fast the boat got us out to start fishing. I’ve been on the larger boats that always go so slow. We got on the fish pretty quick and I finally landed a nice Sail Fish which was my main goal. Caught a few small Mahi, but unfortunately all too small to keep. Captaij Daniel and Louis knew what they were doing. I would fish with them again.

    Daniel and luis worked incredibly hard to get us on the fish. They did great and they worked so well together. The food was great as well. The boat was in perfect condition and well maintained and equipped. Kudos to Kevin.

What a way for Jarrod and his crew to experience Costa Rica sportfishing for the first time aboard Reckless Sport Fishing! The group of 5 headed offshore from Marina Pez Vela and got right into the action, finishing the day with an exciting release of 2 out of 4 Pacific sailfish raised and adding 4 dorado to the box.

Lars chose Reckless Sportfishing to catch his much wanted bucket list sailfish. And the day sure didnt dissapoint! Lars went 10/18 on Pacific Sailfish and had the time of his life with mate Luis and Daniel as the captain . It has been a pleasure having you aboard, looking forward to having you again !
