I've spent most of my life on the River Thames—it's more than just water to me. It's where I've learned, grown, and found peace. From a young age, the river became my escape, my classroom, and my passion. Fishing the Thames isn't just about catching fish, it's the whole experience—the early mornings, the wildlife, the unknown of what could be on the end of the line, and the respect you build for the river itself. From barbel in fast water, carp in quiet margins, to predators like pike, zander, perch, and catfish, this river has given me memories I'll never forget. That's why I started Thames Warrior Experience. I wanted others to feel what I've felt and experience the river the way I do. Whether it's a beginner, a family day out, or an experienced angler chasing a dream catch, I enjoy sharing that journey. Guiding for me isn't just about catching fish—it's about passing on knowledge, confidence, and helping people appreciate how special the Thames really are. Seeing someone catch their first fish or land a personal best is what makes it all worth it. The Thames has given me so much over the years, and guiding is my way of giving something back—sharing my passion and helping others discover the mighty River Thames.
