Guanacaste fly fishing has had a knack for adventure as far back as he could remember. As a local company and fly fishing extraordinaire, we received the IGFA World Record exploring Costa Rica's rivers and lagoons, in some cases very dangerous and inhospitable areas. Capt. Esteban founded Guanacaste Fly Fishing with the aim of introducing people to the wonderful sport while showing tourists the beautiful northern jungle of Guanacaste, Costa Rica. He loves targeting Rainbow Bass, Roosterfish, Snook, and Machaca (Mini Tarpon). Join their team of local fly fishing experts and create lasting memories in beautiful Costa Rica!

Excellent experience going down the river. The captain was very patient getting me un hooked from branches. He coached me into getting my first ever fish on a fly rod. My friend caught several fish as I had several misses. We also saw multiple varieties of birds, iguanas, a couple crocodiles and howler monkeys. A great trip all around.

Another amazing trip on this beautiful river Our guide was Jose excellent knowledge and great guide Caught a lot of fish ranging up to about 9lb and wonderful scenery This was our second trip here and would highly recommended

We had a great day fishing on Rio Corobicic for Machaca. Great learning experience! Our guide Jose and his son Joseph were experienced guides and helped us catch these fast aggressive fish. Great scenery, too!

Had a great time floating Rio Corobici! Fishing was good, and our captain, Joseph, did a great job as our guide. I would recommend this trip to anyone looking to get out for a fly fishing trip in Guanacaste, Costa Rica!

Great trip Jose was very helpful and knowledgeable. Beautiful scenery with crocodiles monkeys and iguanas. I definitely reccomend this trip
