I’ve also worked in the fishing tackle industry, where I developed a deep knowledge of fishing techniques, equipment, bait, and local conditions. I’ve explored fishing spots across Vietnam, especially around Hanoi and Northern Vietnam. Along the way, I’ve built strong connections with local anglers, fishermen, lake owners, and fishing communities. I’d love to share those places and the authentic Vietnamese fishing experience with visitors. 12-Hour Stocked Pond Fishing in Vietnam

A full 12-hour stocked pond fishing experience in Vietnam. We started very early in the morning and fished through the afternoon, adapting our bait, fishing distance, and techniques as the fish moved throughout the day. We caught Tilapia, Grass Carp, Bighead Carp, and Mud Carp during the session. The bite changed several times, so we switched between long and short poles, corn and prepared bait, and different fishing spots to keep catching fish. It was a long and tiring day, but the final catch made it worthwhile. This trip is a great way to experience authentic Vietnamese stocked-pond fishing and local hand-pole techniques.

Brackish-Water Tilapia Fishing in Vietna

A great day of Vietnamese pole fishing for tilapia in a brackish-water pond. We spent the session watching the float, adjusting our fishing distance and bait, and adapting to the way the fish were feeding throughout the day. Tilapia in brackish water can be strong and exciting on a hand pole, making every bite and fight a lot of fun. The video shows the real fishing experience, our technique, the fishing environment, and the final catch at the end of the session. This is a hands-on fishing experience for anglers who want to try traditional Vietnamese pole fishing, learn how to read a float, and experience local stocked-pond fishing techniques. A simple setup, local knowledge, and plenty of action made this a very enjoyable fishing day in Vietnam.
