Captain Gage Swann has spent his life fishing the waters of coastal Alabama, from Mobile Bay and Dauphin Island to the deep waters of the Gulf of Mexico.
His experience covers everything from nearshore wreck fishing to serious offshore trips targeting Red Snapper, Tuna, Wahoo, Dolphin, Billfish, and Swordfish. Over the years, he has also spent time tournament fishing throughout the northern Gulf, gaining valuable experience with big-game species and a wide range of offshore techniques.
Gage enjoys the process of fishing just as much as the catch itself – finding productive water, catching and rigging live bait, building trolling spreads, live-baiting Tuna, and learning how changing conditions affect the bite.
His charter trips are designed to be hands-on. Rather than simply handing guests a rod after a fish is hooked, Gage wants anglers involved in the experience and learning the techniques used to consistently find and catch fish.
Whether you’re fishing state waters for Red Snapper or heading offshore in search of Tuna, Wahoo, Dolphin, or Swordfish, the goal is to provide an authentic Gulf Coast fishing experience built around local knowledge, quality equipment, and time on the water.

The boat was clean, everything felt safe and well taken care of, and the whole experience was a blast for the entire family. The kids had an especially great time, and it was the perfect family-friendly adventure. The crew was friendly, helpful, and made sure everyone had a great experience. We would definitely do it again and highly recommend this charter to anyone looking for a fun, safe, and memorable fishing trip!

6-timers Rød snapper i statsfarvandeThe captain really knows what he is doing and is very respectful towards the guests. He doesn’t treat you bad if you don’t know much about fishing he just tries to help in any way. The boat rides great. You will catch fish if you fish with Gage. I have been fishing with him for many years through charters and some without. My biggest tuna, snapper, and grouper have been fishing with Gage.

The conditions were perfect, Capt Gage and crew were patient, kind and accommodated our every need, and hearing about their past fishing adventures added a unique flare to the day.
