Growing up in New Orleans, Captain Roy used to fish the salt water on weekends. That's where his passion for fishing started. After moving to the DFW area in 1980, he started guiding on Lake Tawakoni and has spent 10 years fishing for Hybrid and Striper. However, his love for salt water brought him to the South Padre Island area to guide for Red Snapper and other species that he grew up catching. For the captain, there's nothing like the fight of a saltwater fish! There are plenty of 15-20 lbs Snapper in Texas waters along with Cobia and Amberjack that make a trip successful.federal Season starts June 1st each year were we find the monster red snapper and much more. He guarantees you to catch a fish or the trip will be reduced to your deposit only.

    Great fishing trip!

    Took my son fishing with Captain Roy and we had a great time. He is very enthusiastic and passionate about fishing. My son caught his first ever red snapper. He definitely knows where the fish are at. We will be booking him again in the future. Check him out if you are in the South Padre Island area.

    The best spot to fish

    Our friend the captain, although that day no other boat went fishing because of the waves, the captain always made us feel safe and carries all the complete equipment. In addition, he has the best fishing spot I have been to. With some huge guachinangos

    We maxed out within the first hour of our trip captain, Roy really knows his stuff! We were first timers & he made us feel comfortable with no judgement. There was nothing but great catches & good vibes!

Federal Read Snapper continue to be on fire!!! pulled into my super secret spot today and it was game on Enrique, Wicho, Frederique, Antonio, Victor and Robert literally wore The Fish out! We had three big Snapper cut in half by shark got our six man limit in less than 45 minutes! They were wore out we caught release some we had doubles triples unbelievable trip today. This was their first time out in the Gulf of America and they did one heck of a job.

Nothing but Epic trips so far for the Federal Red Snapper season. Every trip we are limiting on Red Snapper. The season runs until August 19th and we still have days available. Call Me and let go rip some lips.
