I grew up on the water and have been fishing since I was a little girl. I spent my summers in Destin fishing with family when I was a youngster. I have been fishing and lobstering in Marathon for over 15 years and have made Marathon my home!

    Good trip

    We caught a mess of fish unfortunately only one was legal. The water was too warm. We were told up front that that might be the case. We had a great time anyway and would definitely go again in the future.

    Great Family Day!

    Our family had a wonderful time! We did 1/2 fishing and 1/2 snorkeling. Capt. Lori and Capt. Ricky know how to get on some fish! They are both extremely knowledgeable. They took us to an amazing snorkel spot that the kids raved about. This was one of our favorite things we did in the Keys!

    Plenty of space for 4 kids and fish

    Kids and I got to learn the finer techniques of yellowtail snapper fishing. 3 peraon limit and took extra time to clean and package the catch for us. Kids had a great time. Stayed anchored up over a chum slick and kept rotating the kids out as they were catching. Recommend for a kid fishing trip.

    Had a great time. Hammered the yellow fin. Never seen so many fish. They were in their chum line. Kids wanted to catch a shark for fun. With a quick rig he got each kid the fight of their life. Easily over 6 and 8 ft. I would highly recommend.

    My grandson caught his first mahi-mahi. He caught a total of six mahi of which three were legal size. Kudos to Captain Lori and her first mate Ian for doing a fantastic job before my grandson got nauseous and I asked Lori to take us back. This was my second trip in three days with Captain Lori and I can’t say enough of her friendliness and professionalism. If you need a charter in Marathon call Island Girl Charters. You will not be disappointed
