Excellent Charter with Nikola - Boat Issue Handled Smoothly, Ended with a 40kg PB!

Prior to the trip, Nikola let me know his boat had an engine issue, so we'd be using his spare boat, which was based in Dubrovnik rather than Cavtat. He arranged transport to and from Dubrovnik for this, no problem at all. The spare boat itself was a good size, clean, and fully kitted out with all the equipment we needed. It took about 30 minutes to reach the fishing spot, where we were targeting tuna and mahi mahi. While Nikola chummed to draw the fish in, I had a lighter rod out and was catching mackerel on almost every drop. After about 30 minutes, we spotted a tuna on the sonar. Then, roughly two hours in, we hooked a tuna properly, resulting in a fun 30-40 minute battle that ended with my new PB of approximately 40kg.

Captain Nikola was great. He made sure everyone was comfortable and got us on fish right away. The day started with some trolling and bottom fishing for smaller snappers and bait fish. Once we had some bait for the bigger fish we moved out and caught an amber jack. Captain Nikola provided a great experience for my 16 year old son and I highly recommend him for future fishing trips. He had coffee with my family afterwards and provided some great recommendations and resources for the rest of our stay in Croatia. Thanks for a great trip!

First of all, Nikola my guide was absolute great. Friendly, helpful and he know what he is doing. We changed the day because of the bad weather - best idea ever. I was lucky and nikola so helpful, that i was able to catch some small fish and a big one. The setup of the rods was great and all the gear was quality fishing equipment in really good condition. I came with 0 exspections and left with a perfekt day fishing. Ill try to come back. Thank you!

Unforgettable fishing experience with Kanac kayak fishing. Honestly it was my first experience on Kayaking fishing. It was amazing. You can goes everywhere you want to quickly because paddling kayak allow that. All equipment on the kayak are high quality. Two diferent fishing rods comes for two diferent fishing tipes, with artifisual fish for troling and other for fishing on bottom. All ricomendations for this option.
