    amazing day out in the mangroves!

    captain andres and first mate minor were so committed to finding us fish! they had fresh crabs, baby snooks and swimming shrimp as ready bait to lure the fish. it wasnt a heavy catching day but they hooked a few fish for our son to reel in! happy day out for us!

    the crew went above and beyond

    The mangrove fishing trip was a highlight of our trip. The crew went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. One of them even jumped in the water to retrieve a fish that entered the mangrove root system! We had a great time!

    Tough day on the water, strong tide and hot weather

    We should have caught more fish to but I kept missing the hook sets. We caught one nice red snapper but nobody that we passed was doing any better. The crew was knowledgeable and worked hard but some days are just like that.

    Captain and mate were great, personable and worked very hard to put us on the fish. Tough day on the water but ended strong. Took home Some snapper

    although we only caught one fish, we had a fun trip. we enjoyed being in the mangroves and the crew was great.

    with our time constraints and other people we were stuck with doing an afternoon fish trip. we ended up catching one of the target species which was a black snapper. our guide Andreas was fabulous. he worked hard to get us on to fish but they just weren't biting. we tried several different spots. I would recommend this fishing trip December through February and a morning fish

    The boat was nice, and included high end gear. The captain had collected live crabs for bait the night before and we caught live minnows on they way out. We fished all over the mangroves and the river leading to the Pacific. We caught some nice keepers and at the end, he took us to a spot that was loaded will small sea bass and catfish so that my wife and daughter could catch a bunch of fish as well. We also saw a bunch wildlife, from exotic birds, to monkeys and even crocodiles! It was a lot of fun and I would definitely recommend them!

    Thanks to to captain and mate for a great experience!!! We had a wonderful day fishing. When live bait wasn’t really bringing the fish in, we got to trolling and brought in more than we could eat in two days. A great experience boating out thru the mangroves and fishing the inland river. Many thanks

    Fishing was very tough. Full moon, loads of baitfish in the water. As a new England charter captain on vacation they did there best. No fluffing at all. I enjoying A few fish meals on the grill after trip.

    We did the 5am mangrove tour with Captain Andres. It was absolutely beautiful and the whole family had a great time! Andres treated us very well, spoke excellent English, and was extremely professional the whole time. Unfortunately, the fish were not biting while we were out there which was a bummer. I booked this charter for 5 hours and we didn’t catch anything during that time so the captain graciously allowed us almost 2 full extra hours! Finally we hooked 2 small fish. Fantastic service and overall a great experience!

    Great morning on the water. We caught 6 different species of fish. 5 fish we kept. Trolled along the edges and the. Went live bait fishing. My wife and I had a blast! Adventures boat ride and lots of nature. The Guide and mate wanted to keep fishing, we finally called it! Fresh fruit, snacks and drinks.

    Had a rough day in the mangroves… lots of rain and the fishing was very slow… BUT … I would highly recommend Captain Andres and crew… they worked hard with different techniques and locations… weather and conditions just weren’t right… THATS why they call it fishing!!
