  Knowledgeable guide, made the best of less than optimal fishing conditions

  My son and I booked Captain Tony to go fishing on labor day weekend, and we had a fantastic time. We wanted to target redfish and trout, and Tony took us to a couple of good spots in Rockport. We fished for about 5.5 hours, and we caught 3 redfish (including a 28 inch/8lb bull), 2 trout, an alligator gar, several catfish, even a blue crab at one point. Tony taught us the best strategies for our target species, and we got a lot of action on the water. Tony is a funny guy, respectful, very knowledgeable, and made the whole experience very pleasant. We both learned a lot from him! After we called it a day, Tony fileted all our fish on site. He’s got good equipment on his boat, and he was happy to answer any questions we had about his equipment. Highly recommend.

  Mother's Day Made Perfect

  Capt Tony was a fantastic guide for my parents and I. From the get-go, Tony was light-hearted and welcoming which made us feel at ease going with a new fishing charter. His conversations and extensive knowledge of fishing and the local environment made the hours of fishing seem more fun. We caught a lot of fish, including a bull redfish, which was awesome! We almost limited out on speckled trout too. Capt. Tony is very accommodating and he went above and beyond for us. Since this trip was a mother's day gift to my mom, I had hoped it would be a great trip, but it turned out even better than we all had hoped and she was incredibly happy, so thank you again Tony! We'll be back!

  Capt Tony Gonzales was awesome! He has a wealth of knowledge for fishing and local/texas history. His friendly personality and customer first attitude made the trip very fun and entertaining and did I mention we caught fish! Tony is that guy! My son and I will for sure come back. Thanks for the great fishing trip Capt Tony!

  Had a fun time fishing with Captain Tony. My family and I enjoyed the fishing experience and will book him in the future. Fishing for trout was excellent.
