    Fantastisk tur og besætning!

    Havde en fantastisk tur med Jose og besætningen. Vi var en familie på syv, der skulle ud på dybhavsfiskeri, og vi var begejstrede for at komme ud på Stillehavet for første gang og se, hvad vi kunne fange. Højdepunktet var helt klart den stillehavssejlfisk, vi fangede på vej tilbage til marinaen! Besætningen var fremragende til at rotere linerne blandt familien, når vi havde flere fisk på krogen på én gang. Francisco var fantastisk til at følge os ned langs marinaen til en restaurant, der ville tilberede den gulfinnet tun, vi havde fanget, og til at tage os med til en forretning, der ville skære, fryse og pakke vores tun ned, så vi kunne tage den med hjem. Ville helt sikkert booke med denne besætning igen!

    they took us out about 30 miles. on the way out we caught smaller bonita that we later used to help catch more fish. we caught yellow tuna, 1 large and 1 smaller. and then on the way back in we caught large wahoo, and a striped marlin! the boat had air on it! you cannot do better than that! highly recommend. will definitely use them again in the future. coming back boys!!!

    Highly recommend Fin Chaser for a memorable Cabo fishing experience. These guys know what theyre doing and delivered a life memory for me and my boys. There are plenty of seasoned fishermen here in Cabo and lots of options to choose from. But you will never regret going with Fin Chaser and their crew!     En oplevelse for livet med kaptajnen og besætningen. Jeg har været her i Cabo 3 gange på forskellige både, og dette var den bedste oplevelse og de bedste resultater. Flere fisk (Wahoo, Marlin og Guldmakrel) på vores halvdagstur end på de 2 tidligere heldagsfisketure. Den frisklavede sashimi satte prikken over i'et. En fremragende første oplevelse for min kone, søn og svigerdatter.

Current Fishing Conditions in Cabo San Lucas: ? ? Hot Action Off Cabo! ? This week, Cabo San Lucas continues to deliver outstanding offshore action! Billfish are showing up in strong numbers from the Gordo Banks to the Iman spots, off the 95, 1150 and offshore from the lighthouse in Cabo San Lucas with sea temps holding steady around 80 - 86°F—perfect conditions to stay on the bite. Anglers are also getting into spread out football-sized yellowfin tuna, chunky dorado, and the occasional wahoo, adding some real variety and excitement to the mix. Now’s the time to gear up, rally the crew, and get out there—conditions are prime, and the fish are chewing! ☀️ Perfect Weather in Cabo This Week! ? Cabo San Lucas is delivering ideal conditions for fishing and outdoor fun, with warm, sunny days and calm seas creating the perfect setting to get offshore or soak up the sunshine.• Daytime Highs: Holding steady around 32°C (90°F)• Nighttime Lows: Mild, averaging 26°C (79°F)• Rainfall: Some scattered showers—minimal precipitation expected• Sunshine: 10–12 hours of bright sun daily• Sea Temperature: Holding above 29°C (84°F), great for pelagics• UV Index: Extreme (11+), so sunscreen and shade are musts• Winds: Light and manageable, averaging 16–22 km/h (10–14 mph). There is a possible storm forming south, we could see it affect the weather by next monday. Forecast currently shows it will remain offshore. Species Highlights: ? Marlin Report – ? Striped marlin action remains hot this week, with reliable surface bites continuing from the 950 to off the arch and off lighthouse. Warm, stable water pushing in from the Sea of Cortez—hovering around 84°F—is holding plenty of bait, keeping marlin active and within reach for local crews. Charters are seeing consistent hookups on both rigged dead bait and trolled lures, with early morning runs producing the best results. Staying alert to bird activity and bait movement has been the difference-maker. If you’re chasing billfish, now’s a great time to be on the water—conditions are lined up just right. ⚡ Wahoo Report – ? Wahoo brought some early-week excitement, with a few solid fish landed around the Horseshoe to off the lighthouse. The action was short-lived, though, as a shift in water temps and bait distribution seemed to quiet things down midweek. The bites that did happen came on deep-running Rapalas, Nomad-style lures, and rigged baits worked below the surface. While the pace has slowed, the door isn’t shut—those willing to grind it out and cover ground still have a shot at one of these high-speed predators. Stay sharp and be ready when the opportunity strikes. ? Dorado Report – ? Dorado activity is on the rise this week, with more consistent bites coming in around the Gordo Banks and Iman areas, riding the same warm currents holding marlin. Anglers targeting billfish are picking up quality mahi as a bonus, especially on trolled lures and bait presentations. While we’re not seeing peak numbers just yet, the uptick in action is a promising sign that the season is starting to build. Keep an eye on floating debris and bird activity—both have been solid indicators for dorado this week.. ? Tuna Report – ?️ Yellowfin tuna gave anglers a pleasant surprise this week, with a school popping up just a few miles offshore. About a dozen football-sized tuna were landed in the flurry, signaling a potential shift in the bite. These fish have been hit-or-miss lately and mostly out of reach, so this closer push is a welcome development. While it’s too early to call it a full comeback, it’s definitely worth keeping your eyes peeled—more mid-range tuna action could spark up fast if conditions hold. ? Roosterfish Report – inshore ? Roosterfish action has seen a slight uptick this week, with more consistent bites coming in just off Pedregal and along the nearby beaches. While most fish are still on the smaller side, they’re providing some exciting light tackle action for anglers working live mullet or sardines. It’s a great inshore option for those wanting to stay closer to land while enjoying fast-paced, visual fishing right in the surf zone. Perfect for a half-day trip or a change of pace from the offshore scene. Weather Conditions: Temperature: Warm and sunny, with a gentle breeze. Sea State: Calm, with clear blue waters. Catch Summary: Marlin: Landed 3 out of 4 marlin. Impressive day on the water! Mahi-Mahi: Caught 1 mahi-mahi. Bonitas: Also reeled in some bonitas. Onboard Experience: After the successful catches, we enjoyed freshly prepared sashimi onboard. The mahi-mahi was particularly delightful! The camaraderie and excitement among the crew made this fishing trip memorable.
