Captain Chris Hoag started fishing out on a small boat with his dad when he was a young man. He got to know the local charter captains and discovered he was doing just as well as if not better than most of them, so they suggested he get into the business. He fished commercially during the summers while at college, and once certified he started running charters targeting the awesome food fish found in the Puget Sound. He has never looked back since and loves every day he is out on the water.

    Half Day Trip with Captain CHris

    Had a great time fishing with Captain Chris. We got a shared trip, but it happened to just be us that morning, so it was a private experience. We got out there pretty early and there were already a lot of boats out there, but Captain Chris knew what he was doing and we hit our limit of two each pretty quickly. Chir was great to talk to. We spent a little more time trying to catch a fish for Chris and didn’t find any keepers for him, but we still had a great time!

He is incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and knows exactly where to find the fish. He kept the energy high, shared great tips, and made sure everyone on the boat was having a great time. The boat was clean, the gear was top-notch, and the fishing action was non-stop. We came home with an amazing catch and fantastic memories. Thanks to Captain Chris for a phenomenal day. We will definitely be back!

    I went out with my son and we caught a Cohoe Salmon. Captain Chris was great and worked hard to find us fish. I highly recommend going out with Captain Chris!

Pink salmon are in early this year. We hit this one a while ago the first mature pink salmon so far. 202 and really early. Its going to be awome pink and coho salmon fishing starting 1st of august this year. Lets go get um!
