Captain Danilo Noguez grew up on the water. He spent his childhood on the beach and in the sea and has always known he wanted to work on the water. He enjoys fishing both freshwater and saltwater and is proud to showcase his country's incredible angling both at sea and in the rivers. He is skilled at catching anything from Golden Dorado to Bluefin Tuna, and can confidently guide you to the most remote waters in the country in search of that perfect catch.

    Making most out of a bad weather day

    I signed-up with Captain Noquez thru Fishing Booker. I had been under impression that we were going on an "inland" fishing excursion, but it turned out that "inland" equates to "River" which happens to be 30 miles wide in Punta del Este! The weather was bad (very windy), and the Captain (really nice guy) called and suggested postponing trip due to weather. We were only in Punta del Este one day, so we asked to go out (even in windy conditions) thinking that we were fishing "inland." Turned out that there was only open water, and fishing was lousy in very rough conditions. I suspect that Captain Noquez would be an excellent captain and put you on fish during good conditions; hence my positive recommendation.
