Get Bent Charters is a family-owned business run by Nicholas and Matthew Panton, who have been operating charters for a combined total of nearly 24 years. They have spent their entire lives fishing in the Cayman Islands, ever since they were old enough to hold a rod. Matt and Nick were raised in a family which put great importance on being on the water, so they feel as at home on the sea as on land. These two brothers' love of the sea, combined with their extensive experience fishing both inshore and offshore, makes for the most productive Cayman Islands fishing you will find. And Matt and Nick will do more than just put you on fish, sharing their favorite beaches, and making sure you are having fun and getting the most out of your trip, whatever you choose to do.

    Great trip with Great Crew

    We enjoyed the entire experience on a nice boat with great crew! our son caught a fish and really enjoying yed the experience. The two brithers who ran the boat were great. Everyone enjoyed the trip. We plan to book and ther charter with the same company in the near future. The are very knowledgeable and enjy teaching novices. the boat was well equipped and in goid condition.

    Wonderful time during our half day trip. It was a windy day but they put us on some trees fish. The crew was so friendly and attentive.

    Great morning on the water

    We had a great time today. Although there wasn’t much biting, it wasn’t without trying. The boat was great! Crew was very knowledgeable and accommodating. Can’t wait to get back down here and try it again.

    Slow day with a good crew

    We didn’t catch anything on our full day offshore, but it wasn’t from a lack of the crew trying. The crew was fun to be around, and burned fuel looking for fish. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose.

    Captain Nick called a hour prior to our scheduled departure and said that the reports for the week and morning had been Very light and if we wanted our deposit back we could cancel. We decided to make our own luck and with the help of captain Nick we caught two wahoo and a mahi mahi a total of over 70lbs of figh!! Needless to say we dined on some amazing fish that night!! When we come back there is no other company we use before Get Bent!

    Even though the weather did not cooperate, and we had to battle angry seas, Nick and his crew made the trip very memorable. This young but knowledgeable and enthusiastic crew made sure that I caught my 8’ 175lb Blue Marlin despite the conditions. Only Marlin caught that day I’m told by locals, who all seem to be dialed in to who did what on the water. Highly recommend you give Captain Nick and his brother a shot to cross off your bucket list!!

    Capt Nick put me on my first marlin! Great Capt, Great Crew, and very nice boat. I requested that we specifically target marlin as it has been an elusive species for me. We caught a wide variety of fish: including barracuda, Mahi, reef sharks, oceanic white tip sharks, and a White Marlin. Capt Nick and his mate Brennan were both very knowledgeable and friendly. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this charter. Thank you Capt Nick and we will see you again!!

    From the first contact captain nick was great. He was immediately interested in what my family wanted to do. He offers a customized trip and will go and do whatever the client wants. We worked out all the details before the day and then he was malleable during the trip and we had a great time. We caught a great marlin and overall had the best time. I recommend him highly.
