    Vi havde det absolut fantastisk med kaptajn Mike! Fangede nogle virkelig flotte rød trommefisk, selv da fisken ikke bed og var meget lunefuld. Han ved virkelig, hvad han laver, når det kommer til fiskeri. Udover fiskeriet havde vi en fantastisk tid ude på hans båd, og han var utrolig venlig – han lod os endda fiske lidt længere og ventede på det perfekte bid! Vi var 4 personer på båden og havde masser af plads. Jeg kan varmt anbefale ham, hvis du vil have det sjovt og fange nogle fisk!

    Kaptajn Mikes charter var en fantastisk oplevelse. Mike førte os til aktive spots hele turen, hvilket resulterede i en produktiv fiskedag selv under mindre end ideelle forhold. Mens andre både ikke fik en bid, hev vi trofæ-rød trommefisk op på krogen. Mike kendte tydeligvis det lokale fiskeri godt og bekymrede sig dybt om sundheden af de lokale bestande.

Its May and the season is getting hot ! Lots of Reds movingin from the ocean and are hungry when they get here. Some topwater as long as there is some when but live bait is working best. Take your kids fishing !

Redfish Bit in Topsail Island

Well i think the cold fronts are gone and the over slot Reds are moving in from the ocean. Lots of schools of slot fish on the flats still as the bait thickens . Topwater soft plastics and live bait have been working for me. Weather is perfect! Remember to take your kids fishing !’

Today a cold front came through and slowed the bite down a bit but patients was the key. Had a large school of redfish 20foot in front of us all day and picked at them most of the trip. Sight fishing is key this time of year. Take your kids fishing!’
