I have had a love affair with the ocean all my life. I surfed into my late 40's and have owned boats for over 30 years. I have extensive experience in long-range fishing with over 10 Yellowfin Tuna catches, weighing in at 200+ lbs. My personal best Yellowfin Tuna catch was 270 lbs.

    Crazy wild King Salmon session

    Captain Phil is a living legend - full of useful information for us tourists and boy did he put us on the fish. We only went out for a late morning session and ended up landing 4 beautiful wild huge silver bars - king salmon between 15-20lbs. We lost a few more on both the spinner and dead bait rigs, rods were nice lightweight action so the fight was excellent. if u have a morning free, this is a MUST people! Where else in the world can u jump on a boat and within 1 hour be playing wild king salmon?!

    Phil is an excellent captain that really knows his stuff. The boat is very modern and in great shape. We had plenty of space and a comfortable ride. Our target was big chinooks and Phil delivered those and more. We trolled a few different locations and hooked into kings, white sea bass, and halibut. Incredible experience. Highly recommend this charter for small groups.

    Found the Silver at Golden Gate

    After a rocky ride out to Stinson, Phil was able to steer us in the right direction. Phil was knowledgeable about the sealife and the vicinity. The banter over the radio said there were no fish today, but Phil preserved and we took home a good sized Silver Salmon! My son was so jazzed! Thank you for your expertise Phil!!

    5-Star Fishing Experience with Captain Phil!

    We recently had the pleasure of going on a fishing trip with Captain Phil out of Sausalito, and it was an unforgettable experience! From start to finish, Captain Phil demonstrated exceptional professionalism, expertise, and hospitality. *Pre-Trip Communication:* Captain Phil called the day before to confirm all details, ensuring a seamless experience. *Dock and Location:* The dock in Sausalito was easily accessible, with ample parking in a beautiful area. *The Boat:* Captain Phil's vessel was impressive - well-maintained, clean, and mechanically sound. *Fishing Expertise:* Captain Phil's knowledge of fishing spots, tides, currents, and wind conditions was impressive. He expertly guided us to the fish, resulting in an impressive 10 catches (2 Bat Rays, 5 Striper Bass, 2 Halibut, and 1 Shovenose Guitar Fish) during our 8-hour trip. *Customer Service:* Captain Phil was incredibly patient and enthusiastic about teaching my two children (ages 11 and 9) fishing techniques. He made the day enjoyable for all of us, and his ability to identify fish species based on bite patterns was remarkable. *Overall Experience:* Captain Phil has set the bar extremely high for future fishing charters. His exceptional service, expertise, and passion for fishing make him a top-notch captain. We can't recommend him enough! *Rating:* 5/5 stars *Recommendation:* Book with Captain Phil for an unforgettable fishing experience!

    Wonderful morning with Ken and children fishing for king salmon off the beautiful Marin coastline. We were greeted by excellent conditions we hooked 4 and landed two beautiful kings. This time of year this fishing slowing down but the size of the fish improves and they’re closer to home. Thank you Ken. I enjoyed meeting you and your family.!

    After 3 years of closures, we just finished the 1st period for the San Francisco Region. We fished, initially, from 6/27-7/22 for a quota of 35 K fish. The Department of Fish & Wildlife estimated 15K fish were caught and reopened fishing 8/1 for the remaning 20K fish. As of 8/24 that remainder has now been caught and fishing is closed. It will reopen again 9/1 for an additional quota of 20K fish. Are you with me? Enjoy some pics of this epic 1st time period.

    Very nice day for the pelican family visiting from Belgian fishing slowed down a little, but we experienced great weather and did learn a beautiful salmon for them. We fished along the Marin coastline once again.

    Wonderful trip for Ben and friends fishing the beautiful Marine coastline once again. Fishing was slow in the morning but super picked up in the afternoon. We probably had the best variety all year. We landed two big king salmon, two rare white Seabass and a large halibut they experienced wonderful weather thank you Ben.

Wonderful morning with Ken and children fishing for king salmon off the beautiful Marin coastline. We were greeted by excellent conditions we hooked 4 and landed two beautiful kings.
