I am a second generation guide here in Northern California. I spend the majority of my time in the Sierra Nevada Mountain, Foothill, and Sacramento Valley Lakes, Reservoirs, and River Systems. My main goal is to ensure that you have an enjoyable and productive experience making memories while learning new techniques or sharping your skills to be a more successful angler

Joshua MargulisTilbagevendende lystfisker5.0VerificeretGreat Kokanee Fishing day with Captain Josh
Heldagstur efter Kokanee • 2 voksneWe had an extremely good Kokanee fishing trip, the captain is very knowledgeable of the fishery and the reservoir, knows his target species, we bagged out our limit relatively early while other boats seem to be having to work hard for their catch, afterwards had the opportunity to appreciate local wildlife and boat around and see the reservoir, overall an excellent choice to go fishing Kokanee salmon!!!

Heldagstur efter Kokanee • 3 voksneJosh was an awesome fishing guide, he was extremely knowledgeable about the area and lake we fished in. I can’t believe how many fish we caught! Both my sons are ending their Naval service and this fishing trip was their first family vacation in 10 years! Great time with a great guide. I highly recommend Josh Fontaine!
