Black cod is on the menu. Best grade we have seen in years in June. Easy limits and a great bonus after hallibut fishing.

Squid fishing is on fire and getting bet
Squid fishing is on fire and getting bet

Southern puget sound has been heating up and fishing for squid has been amazing. We have only been targeting squid in the A.M. hours so far however, they've been cooperative all day. Three ounce, bottom jibs, with a couple of non weighted, 3D printed top jigs have been killing it. All color patterns are working. It's more about technique and there's a small learning curve to outfish your buddies. Super easy critter to catch a lot of fun for family groups and very tasty fresh!
