The fish were there, hungry and aggressive, giving us a massive 17 strikes throughout the day. It was non-stop, adrenaline-fueled chaos on deck. In the end, we successfully brought 7 incredible fish to the boat. But as any fisherman knows, the ones that get away always leave the biggest impression. It was a day of intense battle and heartbreak: we had multiple unhookings right when victory felt close, and two absolute monsters completely snapped our lines, leaving us wondering just how big they really were. Despite the lost gear and the ones that slipped away, the energy on the boat was unmatched.
