Turresumé

The fall transition is finally here. Mid October and the weather has been in the high 90’s. Now its in the low 70’s. The weather change has made the bite a little stingy. Grinding all day, averaging around 25-30 fish. Crankbaits, jigs, and worms have been the deal. Still makes for a great day as the weather is perfect. As the weather continues to get colder, I expect the bite to improve and this is when those big bass get hungry preparing for the winter. Tight lines!

Fishing right now is absolutely incredible. The numbers of fish being caught or as high as I’ve ever seen. Water temps are running around 75 degrees, and the water color is extremely algae. The fish don’t seem to mind it and are chewing, averaging around 80 fish on a full day trip, and 50 or so on a half day trip. Crankbaits, jigs and worms have been doing the trick.

Found a grown one (11 lbs). Averaging around 30 fish on half day trips. Crankbaits and worms have been doing the trick.

Averaging 20 to 25 fish a day. Throwing a jerkbait on the outside of the tules and catching some big fish, up to 9 lbs. water is clearing fast (8 ft in some places. Water temps are reaching 62 degree, so have your spinning rods ready the fish should start to transition to the spawn anyday now.
