Turresumé

We started at 7a.m. while heading south we found some birds diving and some yellowfin tuna jumping. We swap from surface lures to rappalas and were able to catch a nice 15 pounds tuna. Later on we decided to move to deeper waters as we were informed by a coleague that skipjacks were bitting. On the way to the new spot a bite on the long corner lure....missed...the fished went on the central rigger line chassing the lure bill out of the water. bang the elastics that we use to attach the line to the tagline broke....we were able to admire the various jumps of the marlin. we immediately cleared all the lines and started the fight. After a good fight the blue marlin was in. Later on we caught a skipjack that we used as live bait. a shark attacked it leaving only the head. We were back at shore at 3p.m

We started at 6.30 a.m. Not long after being out we spotted a school of skipjacks. We hooked 4 at the same time. We successfully caught 2 and immediately used them as live bait. After using the Katalina technique for a while no chance...one of the skipjack was attacked by a massive wahoo leaving just the head. We decided to put back the artificial lures. It was rainning and windy. We spotted another school of Skipjacks. As we entered the school 5 lines screaming at the same time. We caught 4 and were ready to go again in the school. while crisscrossing in the school we noted the presence of a big fish in the spread. First attact on the short rigger line...the fish came a second time on that same lure then swap to the central rigger on second bite the hook was set and the line started going out at a crazy speed. Etan and Luciano cleared the spread immediately by bringing the lines in. Fabian was already in the fighting chair ready for the fight. Capt Antonio reduced the speed gradually and the fight was on. 20 mins later the fish was in the wake still fighting hard. We slowly managed to bring the fish on the side. Few minutes later the marlin was in. Fabian's first try and the dreamed fish was caught.

We were out for a full day Trip. After 45 minutes from the coast we spotted th first school of skipjack. We hooked one and immediately used it as live bait. Not long aftera shark attacked our live bait. We swap back to the surface lures. Later during the day we saw a school of Doradoes. We hooked 4 and caught 2 good size doradoes

We started at 2 p.m. Not long after being out we spotted some birds feeding in the area. These were schools of yellowfins. We decided to change the technique to increase our chances of catching these fishes. After a while no success. We change one of the lures and in a fraction of seconds bang... A Tuna was on. The fight could start. About 200 meters of line was out. The young man fight the tuna with all his strength encouraged by his farther and the crew. After a good fight on the 50pounds shimano tiagra reel the 48 pounds yellowfin was onboard. We could now celebrate this nice catch.
