We had a fishing trip out with Monty charter , the boat was well equipped and the captain was very pleasant. We caught mainly rockfish, or combers I believe they are called. Along with a snapper and a weaver fish ( be careful!) we had hoped to find something a bit bigger but it wasnโ€™t to be. A nice day out on a lovely boat in a beautiful part of the world though.

Great trip! We'd have liked having both a skipper and a deckhand, so that while 1 cleaned the tuna, the other could have brought us to a couple more spots for bottom fishing, since we weren't getting any good bites. And the left handed spinning reeels were awkward. But we LOVED getting a big tuna trolling on the way out! Thanks Luis!

Fantastic trip. Great facilities. The 4 keen fishermen out of a group of 9 had plenty of time fishing while the rest sunbathed on the boat, swam, snorkled and paddle boarded. Drinks where plentiful and snacks available if required. Captain Maximo ensured we had a successful and enjoyable trip. Would definitely recommend.

It was a brilliant experience and although we didnโ€™t catch the big ones we enjoyed every minute with our guide and captain Javier. His knowledge is world class and we were very well looked after. It was so good we extended our initial 3 hour booking.

Despite the fact we caught very few fish we had a fantastic time. Our boys had not fished before but Captain Rueben took time to show them the principles of fishing and they thoroughly enjoyed themselves I would recommend themselves

Great trip! We chose the short trip with two young boys and Captain Oscar was patient, knowledgeable, and kind. Would recommend a longer trip for serious fishermen but if you are looking for a quick outing or an outing for kids this is excellent! We might not have caught the biggest fish, but we did catch quite a few. Iโ€™m sure the calm weather had the fish away from their normal spots. We had the chance to swim. We caught 3 species including a poisonous variety that without the captains knowledge we probably would have handled. The boat was clean, well maintained as was the gear. I am 6 months pregnant so was concerned about venturing too far and the Captain took great care of us. We would definitely book again.
