Beaufort fishing charters are the gateway to the area’s diverse world of angling. From downtown piers to the open seas – these waters hold a challenge for every visitor. Located on the southern tip of the Inner Banks, this third oldest settlement in North Carolina is where incredible inshore fishing meets offshore thrills in the Gulf Stream!
Bring your family along and explore the shallows, targeting some tough-fighters like Spotted Seatrout, Redfish, Black Drum, and even Sharks. If you’re looking for a workout, troll the nearshore waters for brutes like Barracuda, Amberjack, Kingfish, and Cobia. Finally, if it’s a trophy you’re after, nothing is better than getting on an offshore charter in search of beasts like Tuna, Sailfish, or Marlin.
Your target of choice also tells you what kind of trip you should book. A half day trip is great for learning about Beaufort inshore fishing, making it popular with beginners and families. If your sea legs are ready, opt for an expedition to choppy nearshore waters on an extended half day trip. For the fight of your life, head to the Gulf Stream on a full day adventure!
This small town lives and breathes fishing. This is immediately clear once you see its shoreline and all the docks and marinas dotting the coast. Most charters depart from the marinas along Town Creek, which provides boats with ample cover and quick access to the ocean via the Beaufort Inlet.
