August
With school out, now’s the perfect time to bring the little ones along to the bay to take up a new, healthy hobby. Come fishing for the famed Speckled Trout, and teach the kids a thing or two about cooking as well.
September
It still feels like summer with the warm weather a constant feature in Copano Bay. If anything, the fishing is heating up too, with the return of exciting and delicious Redfish to these productive waters.
October
The Rockport-Fulton Seafair attracts visitors from all over the state and beyond in October. Combine your visit with a trip to sea, and see why this corner of Texas is revered for its incredible fishing.
November
If you’ve ever been near the water in Texas, you’ll know that Flounder gigging is a way of life. Come to Copano Bay in November and see this exciting technique in action to land plenty of delicious meat.

There is a LOT of quality water in the area. I particularly like wade-fishing the flats, and there are literally thousands of acres available. We had perfect weather. Not crazy hot, beautiful water temperature, and lots of fishing opportunity. Highly recommended.

I would recommend Aransas Pass because it is away from the tourist crowd of Port Aransas. We stayed in PA but vying for a fishing trip there was crazy. Easy access to the harbor in Aransas Pass.

Tony is a consummate professional who is very knowledgeable of his craft. He is a good teacher and though I’ve been on many guided fishing trips and have fished my entire life, i learned many new nuances of bay fishing. He worked tirelessly to optimize our experience. Caught a lot of fish! He engaged with my son and wife and we talked about many topics. Plan on calling him to schedule our company fishing trip! Highly recommend!

It was a good experience overall. Not very many fish but we did see some action. Unfortunately not all of the fish were keepers. Captain Toby is a great guy with lots of patience and very knowledgeable. We thank him for keeping is in the water for an xtra hr than we had paid for just to catch more fish, unfortunately no luck. We will definitely be coming back and hopefully next time we will get a little luckier and hit the right pot hole.
