January

Explore the saltwater flats in the winter, and experience a productive fishing trip. Fishing inshore for large schools of Redfish will yield some great results!

February

With temperatures slowly increasing, and rain becoming rarer, this is a great time to head out on the water and try a bit of fly fishing.

March

With spring steadily approaching, the fish are becoming more active. You can target Cobia, and Redfish are biting hot!

April

Cobia fishing is very productive this time of year, and as the temperatures rise, a day on the water is a great option to escape the heat.

May

Exploring the inshore flats will provide you with great opportunities to target Redfish, Trout, and Flounder. Expect to reel in some big Sharks as well!

June

This is when the fishing gets really exciting! You can have a lot of fun reeling in big Redfish and Trout, as well as some monster Shark specimens.

July

In July, huge Redfish are lurking everywhere, so you can expect to catch some big creatures inshore. This is when tourism heats up, so expect to have a great time on water and land.

August

This is the best time of year to target Tarpon, as they are in peak season. You can have a great adventure trying to catch a big “Silver King” on the fly.

September

As summer is slowly coming to an end, the temperature and the storms cool down. Fishing the flats is still productive when it comes to Tarpon, Redfish, and many more.

October

With temperatures slowly dropping, inshore fishing is very enjoyable. This is a great time to target Trout, as well as Sheepshead, Red Drum, and Flounder.

November

With tourism dropping, this is a great time to just relax and enjoy spending some time in nature. Trout is biting around underwater structures, and Red Drum is still a great target.

December

There’s a lot of inshore species you can target in December, so don’t hesitate to head out on an adventure in the flats. Redfish, Trout, Sheepshead, and much more are biting hot.

The morning trip was great, it was perfect weather early in the day. Wear good water shoes because our feet got wet but you want to make sure you have secure footwear while reeling in the fish.

Definitely bring lots of water, snacks, and sunscreen. No bananas, they are bad luck. Breathable long-sleeved shirts a neck gator, a hat, and nice polarized sunglasses will help keep you out of the sun. Be willing to listen, you'll learn a lot.

We fished from 2pm to 7pm. We had luck with black drum and red fish under the docks with shrimp fishing on the floor...we caught the largest spotted trout with shrimp on floating corks near the shorelines between 6pm and 7pm when the wind was calm.

Captain Danny was an excellent guide. He is very knowledgeable of the area and particularly different schools of fish. He put us on fish right away and I caught my first redfish ever on my first cast! My son 13 caught his first on the second cast. Everyone in our boat (4) - landed at least one good sized redfish. Danny practices catch and release which is one of the reason we went with him to preserve the populations for future trips and experiences. We look forward to our next trip.

Just got back from a half day morning trip with Captain Brian. He was able to put us on plenty of redfish. The fish didn't want to cooperate today, but we definitely had some shots at some good sized redfish. Captain Brian definitely knows his stuff and will give you the best shot possible at catching fish! I would definitely recommend this trip.
