The lake is fairly shallow with rocks and timber providing structure for the fish that inhabit it. It provides great fishing opportunities year-round, with Largemouth Bass being the top target. Rules & Regulations
When it comes to regulations, fishing in the Texan waters of the lake will require getting a Texas freshwater fishing license. If you’re crossing over into the Mexican part of the lake, don’t forget you’ll need a Mexico fishing license as well.
