Captain Jim is very precessional. Great quality gear. Runs a tight ship. He is very knowledgeable of the river systems and knows how to put you on fish. We fished for two days and had a blast. Plan on booking again in the near future. The Captain can make it happen!!

Super fun trip, captain Jim got us out on the water and got us fish, he knows the rivers well and he even fillets your fish for you and gives you recommendations around the area for fishing and what to use. Super nice guy and a great guide, would go again if we ever are looking for another guide.

My son my wife and I came from Minnesota with the goal of learning something about salmon fishing in the rivers of the Pacific Northwest, a type of fishing we’ve never before had the chance to experience. This was the perfect trip. Jim was clearly very organized and prepared and had a plan for how to best handle the high water conditions from the recent rain. He had ton of valuable knowledge about fishing in the area and put us on some fantastic fish. Would defiantly book again.

Better experience than we expected. jim is a super nice guide with loads of experience and patience. He took us to great areas where he confident we could find fish and we did. Had a great time on the river. Highly recommended Captain Jim. Fishing with a 9 year old is often difficult, Captain Jim made it look easy and was one step ahead of us all day long. Will be booking again in the future.

We enjoyed a perfect day fishing with Captain Jim. His experience had us landing fish despite it being a slow day on the river. We persevered when others quit early and headed home. We are already planning our next trip and would definitely recommend Captain Jimbo to anyone interested in having a great experience!

Had a great day on the Chehalis river with Captain Jim. We do not fish much but he was quick to educate is on casting and knew where the fish were. Highly recommended. Great exercise!

The perfect charter! This was a gift for my husband, Capt Tony who has been a high seas commercial fisherman, fishing around 1/2 of the world. Also, two of our grandchildren, who recreationally fish,16 & 27. My husband, TG said they were heading in with fish while others were looking for a "spot"!?We will go again.

The best boat, professional crew, and top notch gear! Capt. Jason runs the most amazing fishing platform in all of Westport. Stable, comfortable and did I mention fast?!??! Quad Mercury Verado 400s!!! This is a stunning fishing machine and we got our limits of halibut and ling cod. Looking forward to going out for tuna soon!

We planned this trip for a long time. Me and my boyfriend never had a guided tour before. We were praying for no rain and we had that, but we didn’t catch any salmon, Jim used all of his “magic” tricks and we fished at multiple spots. Despite all that, we had a wonderful time with Jim. He entertained us with amazing stories and kept up with my boyfriend “s 1000’s of questions. We definitely will schedule some other trip with him soon,

Jim is an amazing guide! From providing step by step instructions on how to best cast, teaching us about his rigs, to keeping us entertained the whole 8 hours, Jim was great company for this trip. Despite going home empty handed (the Steelhead were being difficult lol) we are excited to book another trip with Jim to give Steelhead another go! Thank you Jim, looking forward to our next trip!

Captain Miller was a great guide and instructor. He was very patient with us (I'm very much a novice to river fishing) and made sure we had every opportunity to catch a fish. We, unfortunately, were unlucky and didn't bring in any keepers, but we had a good time nonetheless. I would definitely go on this trip again with Capt. Miller.

Knowledgeable, great communicator, fun, great boat all made for an enjoyable day. Jim had us in a position to have line in the water the whole day. Tangled, another pole ready. Can’t catch if not in the water. Day flew by, walked away knowing more and meeting a terrific captain. We will come back for more!
