Capt. Merrick Adventures 

We had an amazing time on our fishing trip! The captain knew exactly where the hot spots were and anchored us in the perfect locations to catch large grouper and redfish. As an added bonus, we caught a blowfish and were lucky enough to see sea turtles and dolphins during the trip! The captain kept us engaged the entire time, interacting with us continuously, sharing his knowledge, and making sure everyone had a great experience. His friendly personality and expertise made the trip even more enjoyable. I would highly recommend this charter to anyone looking for a fun, successful, and memorable day on the water!

Had an amazing time out in Clearwater! Captain Merrick picked us up right from our backyard dock, which made the whole experience feel super easy and personalized. We ended up catching three different kinds of fish and even landed 5 sharks — definitely a trip to remember. Everything was smooth, fun, and well-organized, and you can tell he really knows what he’s doing. If you’re looking for a great day on the water, I highly recommend booking with Captain Merrick. My 9-year-old son and I had a fantastic fishing trip with Captain Merrick in Clearwater yesterday. It was really hot, but he went out of his way to keep us comfortable with drinks, shade, and care especially with my son. We caught a ton of fish including grunt, grouper, trout, and a shark. Captain Merrick put us on fish all day and made it a fun, memorable experience. We would definitely fish with him again next time we’re in Clearwater. Highly recommend!

Our family spent the morning fishing with Captian Merrick, he was the perfect choice for us! He is very patient and fun with kids but also good at giving proper guidance. We had an exciting time seeing all the varities of fish we were able to catch! He understood different areas of the ocean, and knew every fish we caught. We had such a great time fishing with Captian Merrick and would definitely use him again next time we are in the Tampa area.

If i coukd give Captain Merrick 10 stars I would ! We went out this morning on a half day trip snd caught many sharks , Cobia , and many others ! I highly recommened booking your trip with Merrick . Hes so personable , a wealth of knowledge on the sea and fish. He never gave up on makinc sure we had the most amazing time . This was our first saltwater fishing trip and it did not dissapoint! The 1st 2 spots we hit was slow but Capt Merrick hustled and got us on fish quickly! Between the fishing and company of Capt Merrick it was above and beyond! Overall I highly recomend Capt Merrick for your next fishing trip. We will definitely be back!! Captain Merrick is a great guide. This was my families first time fishing in Clearwater and the experience was amazing. We caught multiple species to include Trout, Lady Fish, Flounder, Spot, Grunt, and Cobia. We were fortunate to hookup on two massive Cobia. Overall, I highly recommend booking a trip with Merrick. You will not be disappointed!

Best Captian ever! This waa literally the best fishing we have ever been on. Captian Merrick was prepared for everything and was so attentive from start to finish! We caught all fish we wanted to catch and he was so kind and patient helping the younger ones. If I could give him a 10 star review I would, he is truly the best!!!

Best in-shore/nearshore captain in clearwater! Super knowledgeable with years of experience. The vibe on the boat is very calm and a good time! Definitely our go to for the Clearwater area for fishing!
