The vessel used is a 25’ saltwater fisherman, manufactured by Parker in 2003. She’s powered by a 225 HP Yamaha engine, allowing her to develop up to 30 knots when cruising. She can carry up to 5 anglers fishing at the same time.

You’ll be fishing on a 21’ Hydrasport that accommodates up to 5 guests. This center console is powered by a 150 HP Yamaha engine and reaches the speed of 35 knots. She also features Simrad navigational electronics, safety equipment, and a cooler.

Captain Austin was born and raised in Brooklyn and has been fishing the waters in and around the NY Bight, NYC, and Jamaica Bay for over 40 years. He has worked in the fishing industry for over 20 years and authored 250 articles on catching a variety of fish species in NYC waters.

Depending on the season, you might hook into Striped Bass, Albacore Tuna, Bluefin Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Bluefish, Flounder, Black Seabass, and who knows what else! Capt. Adam also offers fly fishing trips, but you need to bring your own fly gear.
