Our trip was not specifically for fishing, more for a combination of shelling, fishing and bird/dolphin watching. We only caught a couple of fish, but we did not fish very long so were pleased with what we caught.

Youโll always catch something off of Naples but trophy fish are going to be easier to catch inshore during the colder months.

Id recommend Capt Marc. The day we went out, two of the people were inexperienced in fishing. Capt Marc not only showed them how to cast and techniques for fishing, he worked hard to make sure they had a super dayโฆ. And he was successful in every way!!!

The two times I fished offshore near Naples have been nonstop action and numerous species. Each time we saw dolphins, enormous sea turtles, sharks and more. Itโs a great place to fish with kids or the whole family.

Definitely go with a guide. I am an avid fisherman in the upper Midwest but i learned a lot from the Captain about bait selection, rigging, techniques, and tides, that i wouldn't have know how to navigate on my own.
It is an investment but pays off dividends with knowledge you receive.
