You’ll be fishing on a 24’ Ranger bay boat that is powered by a single 300 HP Suzuki engine. This vessel is perfect for Tarpon fishing as the flat deck gives you enough freedom to walk effortlessly around the boat while minimizing the risk of falling and/or getting the line tangled.

Capt. David will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. This involves 4-hour trips, mainly fishing for Tarpon, Snook, Jack Crevalle, Snapper, and Ladyfish, depending on the season and conditions on the day. On these trips, you can expect to use techniques such as light tackle, heavy tackle, bottom fishing, trolling, fly fishing, drift fishing, kite fishing, popping, and spinning.

Go Tarpon specialize in light tackle, fly fishing, bottom fishing, jigging and popping, and offer half day, three-quarter day, and full day trips. They mostly fish for Tarpon, but you may also encounter Snook, Jack Crevalle, Snapper, Mackerel, Barracuda and more.

You’ll fish from the captain’s 23’ Ranger Tournament Edition bay boat used for backcountry fishing. It was restored in 2021, can fit up to 5 anglers, and is powered by a 300 HP Suzuki engine. Apart from navigation technology, it’s equipped with a wireless trolling motor, a livewell, and an ice-box.
