You will be fishing around the Myrtle Grove and Lafitte area, well-known for its Redfish population. We really recommend catch and release to help preserve the redfish population, but clients are allowed to keep fish.

Top targets include Redfish, Black Drum, Speckled Trout, Red Snapper, and more if you come at the right time of year. You can expect to do some spinning, jigging, bottom fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.

Capt. Chris will do his best to ensure you have a fun experience full of fishing. He specializes in bottom fishing, trolling, jigging, and popping, all to get you on that bite. This involves 6-hour trips, mainly fishing for Redfish, Speckled Trout, Sheepshead, Black Drum, and Snapper, depending on the season and conditions on the day.

The charter is operated by Captain Austin Plaisance who has fished these waters for a long time and works hard with his crew to show you a good time.
