You will fish with Captain Peter who has been a Lake Ontario fishing guide since 1991 and knows its waters like the palm of his hand. He is a very knowledgeable man and a great teacher to kids and families and loves to take out anglers of all skill levels.

He will take you out on a 40’ Luhrs flybridge boat. This beauty is powered by twin 350 HP Crusader engines. Though fast, the boat gives a smooth ride and is suitable for children. It is comfortable too, with seating spaces in the enclosed flybridge and a nice salon. There is a bed, a kitchen, a toilet, a multimedia system, and air-conditioning.

Before coming aboard, it will be necessary to buy a local fishing license for everyone in your group. This information is usually available online, or you can ask the captain. Some species may be off-limits or require a special tag, so make sure you know what to expect. It’s never a bad idea to bring bottled water, sunglasses, and sunscreen (non-spray).  Alcohol is not allowed.

You’ll be fishing from a 26’ Striper 2601 offshore sport fishing boat that can accommodate up to 3 guests. It’s powered by twin 300 HP Evinrude engines, uses full-featured navigation electronics, and is equipped with downriggers and a livewell. There’s also a portable toilet you can use.
