Make sure you take steps to avoid motion sickness. Weather was great, but large swells. You don't want your trip ruined by a qweezy stomach.

El Patho is a really lucky boat with many years in cabo!! Kiss a coin and throw it in the water as soon and the lines are out! Pay for the fish and they will come!!

Make sure you are OK seasickness wise, take appropriate meds. Plus highly recommend a large hat to keep sun off. Also of course sunscreen you are at the Tropic of Cancer sun is very strong. Bring plenty of water etc and snacks.

If you want to catch Marlin, recommend whole day booking in November so that you go further out to reach the Marlin

The Mahi are here crazy thick this time of the year! If you want marlin you have to go 25+ miles off shore and we were catching Mahi 10 minutes from the Mariana

November is a very good month for beginners to get settled into catching Mahi Mahi. It is an excellent fighting fish that are small enough to figure out the basics of angling offshore.
And one of the tastiest fish of all...
Take your catch to Captain Tony's and have it prepared 3-5 different ways on the menu.

Unless you go to the finger banks, which are about 40 to 50 mile offshore, you are not guaranteed a Marlin. If that is the species, youโre after, prepared to have patience, and the money to go out that far.

If possible, try different boats and Captains. If at all possible, talk with the actual Captain beforehand for accurate and realistic plannng. FishingBooker twice used ineffective middlemen versus communication with the actual Captain (who will make or break your experience).

Bring an extra hat or sunscreen lol wind took my to davie jones locker quick everything was good boat ran good they have a cooler bring ice or buy it at the docks for a bit more

Yes, this is a great trip for first time angler or more experienced folks. We targeted Dorado rather than marlin, but the boat is well set up for catching larger game fish.

Wear sun protection and a sun fishing shirt , long sleeve , for cool comfort , not a cotton shirt. Ice is provided so bring your favorite drinks and food. Nothing like an ice cold drink on a hot day. This boat is wide and stable in swells , compared to other boats. Enjoy yourself and have fun !
