Capt. Cameron will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. He specializes in bottom fishing, trolling, drift fishing, jigging, popping, and spinning, all to get you on that bite. This involves 4 to 8-hour trips, mainly fishing for Redfish, Snook, Tripletail, Spanish Mackerel, Sheepshead, and Speckled Trout, depending on the season and conditions on the day.

You’ll fish aboard a 21’ Nautic Star boat that accommodates up to 4 guests. This bay boat is powered by a 150 HP Yamaha engine and features all necessary navigational and safety equipment. There’s a cooler for snacks and drinks but feel free to bring your own if it’s a smaller one. Bluetooth speaker is available on all the trips, so you can play your favorite playlist.

Based in Cedar Key, Capt. Jason’s charter is your gateway to get Redfish, Trout, Flounder, Black Seabass, Black Drum, Sheepshead, Tarpon, Mackerel, and more. These fish bite well year-round and you will have an experienced captain by your side.

Around here it’s common to catch Redfish, Spotted Seatrout, Black Drum, Snook, Flounder, Sheepshead, Tripletail, Jack Crevalle, Ladyfish, Pompano, Bonnethead Sharks, and Scallops, and sometimes more if conditions are right. You can expect to do some light tackle fishing, or maybe something more specialized in this area.
