Capt. David will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. This involves 4-hour trips, mainly fishing for Tarpon, Snook, Jack Crevalle, Snapper, and Ladyfish, depending on the season and conditions on the day. On these trips, you can expect to use techniques such as light tackle, heavy tackle, bottom fishing, trolling, fly fishing, drift fishing, kite fishing, popping, and spinning.

You’ll be fishing on a 24’ Ranger bay boat that is powered by a single 300 HP Suzuki engine. This vessel is perfect for Tarpon fishing as the flat deck gives you enough freedom to walk effortlessly around the boat while minimizing the risk of falling and/or getting the line tangled.

These waters are home to Ladyfish, Snook, Jack Crevalle, Great Barracuda, Mangrove Snapper, Tarpon, and more. You can expect to do some spinning or maybe something more specialized in this area. Capt. Luis also offers fly fishing trips. During your adventure, you’ll enjoy the amazing scenery in Laguna Torrecilla, one of the most complex ecosystems in the area.

You’ll fish from the captain’s 23’ Ranger Tournament Edition bay boat used for backcountry fishing. It was restored in 2021, can fit up to 5 anglers, and is powered by a 300 HP Suzuki engine. Apart from navigation technology, it’s equipped with a wireless trolling motor, a livewell, and an ice-box.
