I recommend getting a very experienced captain and crew. It would be hard to beat the guys on the Cowboy Sportfishing boat. They are as professional as they come.

Yes the captain has great at finding the fish and we had a great time. Herradura was a good port to go out of. Would highly recommend.

Book a full day so you can go out deep after the big fish like blue marlin and sailfish. We didn't catch a huge number of fish but the 10 ft blue marlin made up for the number. Took about an hour of our trip just to get him to the boat.

Make sure to use bathroom before, have a really big breakfast, and wear hard-to-stain clothing as the fish can get pretty bloody. Maybe also bring nausea medicine. Sunglasses and sunscreen are also good to bring.
