What People Are Saying About Tuna (Yellowfin) Fishing in Fiji

"Half Day with Captain Shakil & Crewman Georgie"

Lucy Prentice fished with Sigatoka Fishing Charters Fiji on August 9, 2018

The boat is somewhat on the older side but it went well, and the fishing gear is modern with a Tiagra, Tyrnos and 2 TLD 50's used for trolling for the bigger fish. They worked well when hauling in the 2 x Yellow Fin Tuna that I caught :) The captain Shakil and his crewman Georgie were easy to get along with and were knowledgeable.

"8 hour fishing trip"

fished with Coral Coast Fishing Charters on May 11, 2018

We had a very enjoyable trip. We did land a Yellowfin Tuna but unfortunately it wasn't the BIG one that we were hoping for, but hey ..... that is fishing. You never know what you will get on the day. We also caught a few Bonito and various Bottom fish. It was an enjoyable day and I would recommend this charter. The Skipper was also very good and it is a great boat.

"Full day trip with owner KC and his captain"

fished with Thunder Boats Fiji on March 12, 2018

We had a great fishing adventure and caught numerous other fish which all didn't count after we landed this monster Yellowfin Tuna ! Owner and captain were very experienced and supplied top notch fishing gear and " Skabenga Lures" which they sell. The ice cold Fiji gold beer was a bonus for the trip home !
