North Carolina Offshore Fishing Charters

For those who do not want to go Offshore all day, consider this charter. This charter takes you out 15-20 miles offshore and lasts 8 hours. Species that we usually catch on this charter are, Mahi, King Mackerel, Amberjack, and more.

Start your trip at the crack of the dawn and embark on a true offshore fishing adventure. You and Captain Jonathan will be targeting Tuna, Marlin, Wahoo, Mahi Mahi, and other species. The captain takes care of all the equipment, so just bring your favorite food and drinks before you leave.

We will start the morning catching bait. Then take a one-hour ride to the tower to start catching amber jacks. These guys pull like donkeys! It is a really good fight. With the remaining time we will troll closer to the inlet to completely fill that fish box! Leave Oregon Inlet and fish all day in the amazing blue waters of the Gulf Stream on a beautiful Blackwell 40' Express boat. Get in the action while catching everything from Tuna (all types) to Mahi Mahi to all types of billfish. The $2550 price includes the current fuel surcharge due to the extremely high cost of diesel fuel. Join us for 8 hours of fun and adventure. On this trip, we will be trolling for King Mackerel, Barracuda, and Bonito. We will also be Live bait fishing on wrecks for Amberjacks, Cobia, and Gag Grouper. This is an intermediate trip with the possibility of catching fish up to 40 lbs.

Typically fishing out to 35 miles offshore typically targeting Mahi Mahi, King Mackerel, Spanish Mackerel, Cobia, Sharks, Amberjack, Sailfish, Black Sea Bass, Grouper. This is a 8 hour fishing trip to grounds that are more productive than our 4 hour trip and you will have more time to fill your coolers. With the added time, we are able to target a larger variety of species during this trip. Any half day, trip can be extended to a full day trip as long no afternoon trip is scheduled.

On a full day offshore we will be fishing anywhere between 10 and 30 miles out, depending on where the best bite has been on recent trips. King Mackerel are the majority of what we catch, Mahi, Barracuda, Amberjack, and possibly a Sailfish will also join the mix. The trip lasts 8 hours from start to finish.
