Le capitaine Chris Oliver accueille les pêcheurs de tous âges et de tous niveaux d'expérience à bord de son Mako walkaround de 27 pieds, suffisamment spacieux pour accueillir jusqu'à 4 pêcheurs dans un confort optimal. Deux moteurs hors-bord Yamaha de 200 CV propulsent cette beauté capable de vous emmener à une vitesse maximale impressionnante de 47 nœuds, vous permettant d'atteindre les spots les plus productifs en un rien de temps.
Il dispose également de tout ce que vous pouvez imaginer en matière d'équipement de navigation et de sécurité. Il y a des toilettes à bord, ainsi qu'une zone fermée vous protégeant des intempéries.
Le capitaine partagera avec vous ses années d'expérience de pêche au Bar rayé sur la rivière Hudson et vous montrera les zones de pêche locales les plus productives. Sa connaissance de quand et où pêcher, associée à l'électronique de navigation Simrad de pointe et à l'équipement de détection de poissons, vous garantira une journée inoubliable sur l'eau.
Le capitaine utilise uniquement des appâts vivants, et c'est sa spécialité ! Il vous fournira de nombreux types d'appâts vivants différents qui maximiseront vos chances d'attraper la prise de vos rêves. Il vous fournira également des moulinets Shimano haut de gamme et des cannes premium spécialement conçues pour ce type de pêche par Crafty One Customs.
Le nettoyage et le filetage des prises sont inclus dans le prix et un premier lieutenant vous aidera à bord, il est donc suggéré de lui donner un pourboire de 20% pour ses efforts. Le capitaine adore avoir des enfants à bord et enseigner à ses clients une variété de techniques, alors amenez vos petits avec vous. Day trip with Captain Chris

Genuinely Captain Chris loves what he does. Every time I’m on the boat with him fishing on the Hudson River it is a highlight I’ll never forget. He will put you all on fish. I’ve gone out with him many times and majority have all been nice weather conditions. One time conditions were rough very windy and rainy, Chris still continued to put us over schools of fish, maintaining great bait presentations, etc. He is absolutely dedicated to his craft. You cannot ever go wrong with booking a trip with this guy. He is checking everything the entire trip. He will tell you to watch specific rods at times when he knows a fish is about to strike, he will give recommendations on how to properly handle releasing these beautiful fish, and most of all his trips make you feel fulfilled. If you want to fish with a captain? It’s Chris.

2 couples in our 60s went out and could not have had a better time, Chris was amazing, we caught 28 stripers from 22 inches up to 40, also if your wondering there is plenty of room on the boat.
Will definitely do it again with "keepin it reel sportfishing".

Captain Chris was great! I wish I had some photos of the Hugh stripers he put us onto. We were a group of four and we all got big fish!. We did a night trip to Block Island. The water was rough but Chris and the boat handled it well !
I would highly recommend Chris.

Keeping It Reel Fishing Charters is an amazing experience that I would recommend to anyone. I have gone out striper fishing on the Hudson with Captain Chris the past two years and again this spring. He is a wealth of knowledge and takes the time to teach you his techniques. I first learned about him by watching his videos on YouTube, where he demonstrates how he ties his rigs and how he fishes for stripers in the Hudson River. Had an awesome trip on the Hudson River! It honestly felt more like fishing with friends than being on a charter. Super laid back, knowledgeable, and willing to help however he could.
He even shared tips and spots I can try on my own in the future, which I really appreciated. At the end of the day he sent me home with all the bait we had left too.
If you’re looking for a great day on the water with someone who genuinely wants you to have a good time and catch fish, I’d definitely recommend booking a trip!
