Tout nouveau bateau équipé ! Rejoignez le propriétaire du bateau et capitaine depuis 16 ans, Jason Katsikas, à bord de son console centrale de 20' avec l'OMBRE d'un T-top. Ce n'est pas un skiff. Il est assez spacieux grâce à sa conception et permet aux pêcheurs de pêcher confortablement. Il pêche dans les eaux d'Islamorada depuis qu'il est enfant. 25 ans !
Le Capt. Jason cible de nombreuses espèces. Tarpon, Barracuda et requins pour la pêche sportive ou la chasse au Vivaneau, Spare, Labre capitaine, divers Maquereaux, Mérou et autres espèces pour le dîner ! Quel que soit votre niveau de compétence ou vos préférences, vous serez entre de bonnes mains. Le Capt. Jason est un pêcheur passionné qui est fier d'être un excellent pédagogue.
Vous pêcherez sur les récifs coralliens d'Islamorada lors de sorties en famille et pour le dîner. Il n'y a pas d'âge minimum pour les enfants. Les heures de départ sont flexibles, n'hésitez donc pas à me contacter directement pour convenir d'une heure de départ qui vous conviendra le mieux.

Tarpon Fishing
4 Hour Trip – Tarpon (AM) le May 30, 2026 • 4 adultes
Captain Jason took us out from Robbie’s Marina for an evening Tarpon trip. He was ready on time with all the bait we needed pre-setup.
We took off for maybe 10 minutes before we reached our first stop, where we caught a black tip shark and some nurse sharks.
After not getting a Tarpon for the next two hours he recommended we move to another spot.
Within 30 minutes we were hooked on a proper silver king. The fish fought for maybe a little under an hour before it got tangled it up beside a pier.
Captain Jason did his very best to save the catch, passing the rod around piers and moving the boat around the marina to keep the line clear.
Overall, amazing trip. Captain Jason walks you through what he is doing and takes time to teach you about the actual fishing.
Would 100% recommend, and next time I am in Florida I will for sure re-book this charter!

It was a very enjoyable time fishing with you guys. On a personal note, wonderfully unique time learning complex hisory and views on another region of the world from a group with perspectives I rarely am fortunate enough to hear. I was up until 4:00 am reading historical articles on the fascinating and important subject!

what an amazing time and experience. Jason was a great captain. Very friendly and knew the fishing areas and local history very well. i love the smaller boat experience you’ll get here. big boats feel like a process. this was fishing with great personal interactions among Jason and us. we hooked two 5’ black tips and my dream fish of catching a tarpon came true with a 5+ foot and 150lb tarpon. Jumped about 5 feet out of the water and made our hearts skip a beat. it was an hour fight right at the end of our trip and Jason never even thought about dropping the fish and heading home. we stayed on it until we landed it. what an awesome catch and trip. we highly recommend Jason. Ask about his travels… the stories and conversation is great. we will definitely head out with him again next time down in Isla !

Excellent Tarpon Fishing

Captain Jason provided an excellent first time tarpon fishing experience. I initially booked a morning charter but he recommended we change to a late afternoon charter where the fishing has been more productive lately. And he didnt dissapoint. We hooked a large tarpon juat before sunset.
Captain Jason has a calm, laid back attitude ams was very helpful explaining everything we needed to know for a successful tarpon fishing experience!
I highly recommend Katz Charters!

Great day on the water
Half Day Trip – Patch Reef le February 20, 2026 • 2 adultes
We had an absolutely incredible day out on the water with Captain Jason! From the moment we dropped the lines in, we were catching fish almost immediately. No waiting around, no wondering if we were in the right spot — Captain Jason clearly knows exactly where to go and how to put you on the fish.
Beyond his skills as a captain, the entire trip had such a laid-back, easygoing vibe. It never felt rushed or overly structured — just a perfect balance of serious fishing and pure fun. And speaking of fun… Captain Jason is incredibly funny. He kept us laughing the entire trip with stories, quick wit, and just the right amount of good-natured ribbing. It honestly felt like heading out with a friend who just happens to be an expert guide.
One of the highlights was taking time to snorkel and see the fish up close. That extra touch made the experience even more memorable — not just catching them, but getting to observe the underwater world firsthand. It really set this charter apart from others.
If you’re looking for a fishing trip that delivers action, great energy, and unforgettable memories, Captain Jason is your guy. We can’t wait to book again!

Great Time for our Family
2 Hour Trip (3hr) – Family Fun le February 17, 2026 • 2 adultes • 2 enfants
We took the 2 hour afternoon cruise and we had an excellent time. Family of four with two young kids (5 and 7). Captain was good with the kids and was able to help them in a patient, professional way.
Prior to the tour captain called and offered to reschedule as the water was a bit choppy, we opted to go anyway and it was totally fine. We appreciated the heads up and option to go when conditions were a little better. I'm not sure if everyone would do this, but captain Jason did.
Our catch was filleted on the dock and we took them to a nearby restaurant where they prepared our catch. Totally awesome experience for our whole family.
